Orleans

Orleans, Massachusetts is located in Barnstable County and part of the lower Cape.  The population is about 6,000.  Home to some of the most beautiful beaches, Orleans is situated in a location that includes both bayside beaches and the National Seashore, like the popular Nauset beach.  For more on the history of Orleans click here.

The picturesque downtown shouts small-town New England, with boutique shops, local markets and a variety of dining spots.  Main Street Orleans is also the home of the popular July 4th Parade, which the Orleans Firebirds ride a float in every year.

There's so much to do while living and visiting the Cape including local theaters, yoga studios, bike paths, a weekly farmer's market, hiking, fishing, golfing and so much more.  The Orleans Chamber of Commerce is a great resource for all things Orleans!
