Orleans Firebirds Summer 2013 Internships
The Orleans Firebirds Internship Program is a great way for college level students to acquire credits and experience, while learning the basics of how a baseball organization runs. The Firebirds internship program has been successful throughout its history in providing interns with industry experience in a fast paced environment. Our program provides a number of students with an overall learning experience to include such areas as: Broadcasting, Community Relations, Baseball Operations, Sponsorship, Marketing, Communications, the writing of press releases, as well as many other areas.
In addition, Firebirds interns will work each home game as part of our Firebirds Game Day Staff. This creates an opportunity for the interns to interact with fans and to apply what they have learned to actual game time situations.
The Orleans Firebirds and the Cape Cod Baseball League are highly respected and carry themselves with the utmost professionalism in what we do. We are in search of highly competitive, highly motivated individuals who have a strong interest in the field of sports broadcasting/management.
